NODUS is a browser extension that lets you save, organize and reuse AI responses with one click. It works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Copilot and DeepSeek. Everything is stored locally on your device — no account, no server, no mandatory subscription.

Installation takes less than 30 seconds:

• Chrome / Edge / Brave: visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome"
• Firefox: visit Mozilla Add-ons and click "Add to Firefox"

After installing, open any supported AI platform — NODUS buttons appear automatically.

No. NODUS works without registration, no email, no password. Install and start using immediately. Your data stays in the browser's local storage.

NODUS works in:

When you open any supported platform, NODUS injects floating buttons next to AI responses. Click Save to capture the question and response instantly. Click Quick to save without opening the settings panel. Click Dash to open your captures dashboard.

With NODUS installed, open ChatGPT normally. NODUS buttons appear next to each response. Click Save to open the capture panel, add tags and choose the destination queue — or click Quick to save with a single click without any configuration.

NODUS works natively on Claude.ai. Capture buttons appear next to responses automatically. Click Save to capture the question and response to your local dashboard. Works equally for Claude projects and regular conversations.

Install NODUS and visit gemini.google.com. Capture buttons appear next to Gemini responses. Click Save to store the conversation locally, with tags and the same organization as other platforms.

NODUS automatically detects responses on Perplexity.ai and injects capture buttons. Click Save to record the response along with cited sources. Ideal for research you'll want to reference later.

NODUS works on both grok.com and x.com/grok. When you open a conversation with Grok, capture buttons appear next to the responses. Click Save to archive them locally in your NODUS dashboard.

NODUS natively supports DeepSeek (chat.deepseek.com). Capture buttons appear next to responses. Click Save to record the question and response in your local dashboard.

Each capture saves one question and response at a time. To save multiple responses from a conversation, click Save on each response you want. Then use Chains to connect those captures into a logical sequence.

Quick Capture (the Quick button) saves the response directly to the default queue without opening the settings panel. It's ideal when you want to record something fast without interrupting your conversation flow. The capture is available in the dashboard to organize later.

Install NODUS and use the Quick button whenever a response looks useful — even if you're not sure yet what for. The habit of capturing before closing the tab eliminates information loss. Your dashboard accumulates everything and full-text search lets you find any capture later.

Open your NODUS dashboard, select the desired capture and click Export → DOCX. The Word file is generated directly in your browser and saved to your computer. You can chain multiple captures with Chains and export everything together as a structured document.

NODUS exports to HTML, which you can print as a PDF directly from the browser (Ctrl+P → Save as PDF). For direct PDF export, we recommend exporting as HTML and using the browser's print function — the result is well formatted.

NODUS supports export in:

• TXT — plain text, compatible with any editor
• HTML — formatted, printable as PDF
• DOCX — compatible with Word, Google Docs and LibreOffice

Chained captures (Chains) can be exported together as a single document.

In the NODUS dashboard, go to Settings → Export all. This generates a file with all your captures in JSON format (for reimporting into NODUS), or you can export each queue individually as DOCX or HTML.

In the card view in the dashboard, click Copy. The content is copied with Markdown formatting preserved — headings, lists, code — ready to paste into any editor that supports Markdown.

Yes. In Settings → Export data, you download a JSON file with all your captures. This file can be reimported into NODUS on another computer or after reinstalling the extension.

Use Chains to connect related captures from different sessions (even from different platforms). Then export the entire chain as DOCX — the result is a structured document with all questions and responses chained in logical order.

When saving a capture, you can add up to 4 tags to categorize the content. Tags appear on dashboard cards and act as filters — click a tag to see only captures with that category. Create tags like "backend", "study", "ideas", "work" or any category that makes sense for you.

Queues are separate collections for organizing captures by context or priority. The Quick Queue is for fast captures, without categorization. The Default is the general queue. Queues Q1–Q4 (PRO plan) are customizable by theme, project or client. Each queue has a different border color on the cards.

In the NODUS dashboard, use the search bar at the top. Search works in real time and covers the title, question and response of all captures. Combine search with platform or tag filters to find exactly what you're looking for.

In the dashboard, click the platform badges below the search bar. Click ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other platform to see only captures from that source. Click again to remove the filter.

Projects (PRO plan) let you create completely separate spaces — for example, "Work", "Studies" and "Personal". Each project has its own queues and captures. Switch between projects with a single click without mixing different content.

Yes. Open the card in the dashboard and click Edit. You can modify the title, add or remove tags and move the capture between queues. The original content (question and response) is preserved.

Use the text search in the dashboard — it covers the full content of all captures, not just the title. If you remember any keyword from the response, just type it. Combine with the platform filter (e.g. Claude) if you know where it came from.

Chains let you connect captures from different conversations into a logical sequence. Imagine you researched a topic on ChatGPT, then went deeper on Claude and found examples on Gemini — a Chain links those three captures into a continuous thread of reasoning, even coming from different platforms.

In the Chains tab of the dashboard, click "New Chain". Give the chain a name and add existing captures by dragging them into the desired order. You can add captures from any platform and rearrange them at any time.

Yes — that is one of the main advantages of Chains. You can connect captures from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and any other supported platform in a single sequence. Each card retains the identification of its source platform.

Open the Chain in the dashboard and click Export. You can export the complete sequence as DOCX or HTML — the result is a structured document with all questions and responses in order, ideal for reports, studies or documentation.

On the free plan, each Chain can have up to 5 captures. On the PRO plan, the limit is significantly higher, allowing extensive chains for complex projects.

With the injection feature, you can insert the content of a Chain directly into the prompt field of any supported platform. It is like giving the AI the full context of previous research — without manually copying and pasting each response.

No. NODUS has no server of its own that receives your captures. Everything is stored in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local / browser.storage.local). No capture, tag or content ever leaves your device.

No. NODUS only reads page content when you actively click Save or Quick. There is no automatic capture, passive monitoring or reading of conversations you have not chosen to save.

Captures are stored in the browser profile of your operating system user. If your user profile on the computer is protected by a password, captures are equally protected. NODUS does not add extra encryption — use your operating system's protections for physical security.

Yes. The NODUS core is available on GitHub under the MIT license. Anyone can audit the code and verify there is no hidden data collection. You do not have to take our word for it — see the code.

When you uninstall the extension, the associated local storage is deleted by the browser. Back up first: go to Settings → Export data to download all your captures as JSON. You can reimport them after reinstalling.

NODUS requests only the permissions needed to work:

• Read AI pages — to detect responses and inject the buttons
• Local storage — to save your captures on the device
• Tab access — to know which platform you are on

No permission for camera, microphone, browsing history or passwords is requested.

The NODUS dashboard works completely offline — you can access, search and export captures without an internet connection. Capturing new conversations requires a connection because the AI platforms themselves need to be accessible.

Yes. NODUS captures conversations in any language — English, Portuguese, Spanish or any other. The language of the conversation does not affect how the capture buttons work.

Yes. NODUS works with all Claude versions available on claude.ai, including Sonnet, Haiku and Opus. The model used in the conversation does not affect the capture.

Yes. NODUS captures responses from Gemini in all versions available on gemini.google.com, including Gemini Advanced.

Yes. NODUS supports Microsoft Copilot at copilot.microsoft.com. Capture buttons appear next to responses automatically.

Yes. NODUS is under active development and new platforms are added based on demand. Frequently requested platforms include Poe, Pi and others. Follow updates on GitHub.

NODUS captures images generated within supported platforms when they appear in a response (e.g. images generated by ChatGPT via DALL·E). Dedicated image platforms like Midjourney are not supported at this time.
